Milestones
Over the past few weeks, we have been hard at work trying to achieve a common ambition of gathering a stable 40-man team to venture towards the end-game content of WoW Classic. With the robust core of close friends, it has always been a priority to find friendly and likeminded people, that would fit right in our close-knit community. We finally feel that this is within our reach – to the point where all recruitment efforts have concluded.
All this work culminated on Sunday as we reached two important milestones: Our first full 40-man raid group with only guild members. As well as our first Ragnaros kill, signifying the completion of all raid content available in Phase 1 and 2. We turned out to be a little too prepared for the challenge, as we took him down on the first try, before even reaching phase 2.
Good job everyone!
As more Azerothian friends start to reach level 60, we will inevitable have more than 40 people ready for some raids. This is a consequence of being a semi-casual guild, with grown up people that will not be able to attend each and every raid. And that is cool! But, because of that, we took the decision to overrecruit, as it seemed to be the only solution in order to be raiding regularly.
So, what now?
We will continue to raid and gear up for Phase 3, while monitoring the progress of the remainder of the members that have yet to reach level 60. When applicable, we will attempt to arrange 2 raid groups, starting with Onyxia’s Lair, both to generate more loot and to include more people.
In the cases where we are unable to find a raid spot for everyone, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding on the matter.
Meanwhile; let’s work together, kick asses and chew bubblegum!
Raid Status
We're working hard to find the last few members! Meanwhile, we encourage all level 60's to help the lowbies out, in order to get raiding as soon as possible!
The management of Second to None has decided not to pug people in order to raid - primarily because we think it takes out most of the fun in accomplishing something as a Guild. Luckily, we are one of the few Guilds that are getting close to being able to do this on our own, but of course, if you really want to raid, you are more than welcome to find pugs yourself, while we are getting ready. This applies to the coming week and we will keep you posted on our progress.
We are so excited to get started and we hope that you are too!
The New Home of Second to None
The new home of Second to None has been chosen to be:
Bloodfang
Whisper Blx, Qni, Lictius or Aniol for invite.
Second to None Reunited!
Ever since the launch of WoW Classic an underlying conflict has been lurking in the backyard of Second to None. We were supposed to be composed of a big epic collection of friends, but due to unfortunate circumstances, people were scattered in many different directions, with no good solution to ever find their way back to each other.
Now, this has finally changed! Blizzard just announced that most EU PvP realms are eligible of transferring to some of the lower populated realms for free. This is the opportunity we have been waiting for, so it would be a shame not to act on it.
There are are 4 servers to choose from, and during the weekend we will monitor the initial developments and quickly announce what realm will be the new home of Second to None.
We are aware that for some of you, this may be less than ideal, but we hope you strongly consider coming along, and maybe convince your friends to join you for the ride. If not; it was a pleasure while it lasted, and we wish you all the best!
To everyone else; we will be looking forward to continuing our journey together on the new realm!
Raid Preparation
The first official week of raiding in Second to None has begun and while the dungeons available in Phase 1 is not exceptionally challenging, we strongly encourage our members to do appropriate preparations before the whole raid adventure ensues this evening.
Pre Quest
While it is not strictly necessary to be attuned to Molten Core, it is a big hassle not to be. Therefore, it is important that you get this done as soon as possible. Luckily, it is quite a simple quest to complete.
The Onyxia pre quest requires a few hours to complete and starts with the ‘Dragonkin Menace’ quest in Burning Steps. A guide can be found on following link: Onyxia's Lair Attunement
As many of you have not completed this yet, it is unrealistic to expect that we will be ready to raid this tonight. However, we expect that all eligible members will have completed it by Sunday evening.
We encourage everyone who has completed it already to help the ones who have not.

Following AddOns are recommended to have installed for all members prior to the raid:

Recruiting
We are closing in on level 60 and the need for 40 people to form a raid group is getting bigger every day that passes. While the core of the guild will be very active, there will be a lot of members with grown up responsibilities that will have a more casual approach to the game. This is perfectly fine. The main goal is for old and new friends to experience Classic together once again, and for many of us, raiding will be a big part of that.
So, now we are looking for new players to join our ranks, in the pursuit of forming new friendships while progressing through the epic raid content of World of Warcraft Classic.
All classes are currently considered, but the most needed roles will be represented on the right hand side of the homepage.
If you wish to join, please whisper BLX in-game, and we will have a chat.
